Hello. Here is some helpful information whilst you wait for your test kit: Infections may not show up in tests immediately after exposure. If you think you may have been exposed to an STI we recommend that you test for chlamydia and gonorrhoea 2 weeks after unprotected sex. For your blood test, we recommend you test 7 weeks after potential exposure (this is the window period for HIV), and then consider testing again 5 weeks later as the window period for syphilis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C is 12 weeks. Watching this 2 minute video will help you prepare to take your blood sample: youtube.com/watch?v=vZ95tnbcexs. We apologise in advance for any delivery delays caused by the impact of Covid-19 on the postal system. Thank you for your understanding at this time, SH:24
